Such a great place and great owner. We needed a trumpet when our child left hers at school and had a concert. Didn't even require a deposit. Says he does it for the kids! So sad to see they will be closing their doors soon. Buying from big box stores just isn't the same. Thanks for years of great service for musical needs. My husband bought his supplies for band from here over 20 years ago.
I have known Jon Frank for many years. He has helped in the purchase of 2 Violins for my daughter, musiclessons , a Yamaha keyboard purchase and just recently assisted in the selection of a wonderful ( dream come true) Yamaha Baby Grand piano . He is personable, knowledgeable, and you receive excellent customer service.Blessings and Thank you Jon,Debra
After looking on craigslist for a piano, it was wonderful to walk into a place that sold BEAUTIFUL used pianos that work perfect. John is legit. Super nice guy and he knows his stuff. Will definitely be telling people about this place.
As a - to be again - concert pianist, I can tell you that the minute that you walk into Harmony House, you feel the calmness and the friendliness of the owner, John Frank, who knows his stuff! You know what? I don't care if there may be a cheaper price or other products on the market. I like the guy, and I've become a life-long customer today! Thank you, John!
This place is a hidden gem in our community. They are a music shop that sells a variety of different instruments and offers lessons. The owner is very...
““Excellent knowledge and customer service. A super convenient location for music lessons. Miss Joy has an enthusiasm that has made my daughter’s piano lessons a fun activity that encourages her to play and practice often. Highly recommended!”
Joy was a typical musician’s kid. She sang solos in church at age 5 while an older sister accompanied on the piano. She was involved in choirs and bands singing, playing, and/or directing all through grade school and high school.
After high school, she played the piano or directed choir for small churches in town. She moved to Nevada in 1998 where she served as choir director for four years at a small church in Henderson while teaching piano, flute, and clarinet out of her home. Joy moved back to Phoenix in 2005, where she continued teaching piano.
She completed her college education at GCC and Southwestern College (now called ACU) where she graduated with a degree in Music Ministry in May 2010, while fulfilling her internship as pianist at a small church from 2007 through 2010.
Joy has taught piano since 1998, and has been at Harmony House since 2005.
