Scotty Spenner started playing guitar at ten years old and was performing professionally by the time he was nineteen. He has over thirty years of teaching experience.
He has performed at clubs, concerts, and festivals throughout the United States and he studied music at the University Of South Dakota for four years during the early nineties.
Scotty has taught in the Phoenix metropolitan area since 1997 and teaches guitar, mandolin and ukulele to students of all ages and skill levels.
Scotty has extensive teaching and performance experience in Classic Rock, Blues, Jazz, Country, Bluegrass, Folk and Ragtime styles. He is well-versed in theory and teaches advanced chord theory.
Scotty was inducted into the Arizona Blues Hall Of Fame in 2009 and into the Heritage Foundation Blues Hall Of Fame in 2012.
He performs in the Phoenix metro area weekly with the Irish Rock/Celtic punk band the Saints Of Eirinn, with his blues band True Flavor Blues, and performs regularly with Phoenix blues legend Big Pete Pearson.
